Biography

Daniel L. Moore is a native of Washington, D.C. and a 2011 alum of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he received his BFA in Ballet. He has been a guest and full-time company member at Eleone Dance Theater, Pennsylvania Ballet (Philadelphia Ballet), Carbon Dance Theater, Collage Dance Collective, Armitage Gone! Dance, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet in New York City. Mr. Moore worked with Royal Caribbean International as a dancer/aerialist at sea around the world. He has instructed at various schools and intensives as a ballet teacher, modern instructor, and choreographer at Boston Conservatory, The Ailey School (Fordham), Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, Diversity of Dance, Manhattan Youth Ballet, Dance Institute of Washington, Northeast Performing Arts, Beverly Hills High School, Joy of Motion, Princess Mhoon Institute of the Arts, Suitland High School, and Dance Institute of Washington. Daniel took on short film projects and two television shows as an actor including "A Chance to Dance', produced by Nigel Lythgoe of SYTYCD, where he explored working in-live television. He has combined his experience as a dancer and actor to fuel his career as an advocate in every field within the arts. Daniel has over twenty years in the industry and isn't stopping anytime soon.
