The 2019 Mason Dance Fête will take place on Saturday, March 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The biggest dance event of the year at Mason, this year’s Fête will feature student showcases, a reception with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert, and a Gala Concert Performance featuring pieces by acclaimed modern dance choreographers.
Lucinda Child’s Dance #1 will lead the program, followed by Nacho Duato’s Na Floresta, and Andonis Foniadakis’s Kosmos. The Fête will also feature a highly-anticipated moderated Q & A session with Lucinda Childs, one of America’s greatest modern dance choreographers. A festive evening celebrating the excellence of Mason’s School of Dance, the night is a do-not-miss event for dance lovers. Single tickets are $95 and sponsorships begin at $500. All proceeds for the event support dance student scholarships.
