Space to Move
The sweeping curves of the award-winning Donald and Nancy deLaski Performing Arts Building house the School of Dance and reflect the rhythm and movement that fill the building each day.
Spacious Studios
The three original sunlit studios with banks of windows along one wall have long been a hallmark of our program. The new deLaski wing is a stunning addition. A dance gallery connects two new studios, each more than 2,800 square feet with 20-foot ceilings and large corner windows, a fully equipped conditioning lab and treatment room, and a student lounge.
You Are Front and Center on Beautiful Stages
The George Mason Dance Company performs in three theaters: the Center for the Arts with a 1,900-seat Concert Hall; the 475-seat Harris Theatre; and the Hylton Performing Arts Center on the Prince William campus, with a performance hall that seats 1,100, and a 275-seat flexible theater.
Our team of professionals supports dance performances with costume design, set construction, lighting, and sound.
Athletic Training Clinic
Our Athletic Training Clinic is equipped with Pilates equipment, weights, and stretching apparatus. Our full-time AT has two treatment tables for evaluation of our dancers, as well as whirlpools and electric stimulators, if needed.
